Record winter spell in Europe set to boost tea earnings

Last year tea prices surged by 86 per cent to a record high as drought hit Kenya, Sri Lanka and India, the world’s top exporters, cutting supplies.
Industry analysts had initially believed that the price could hit £2.25 (about Sh225) because of poor weather in main producing country’s like Kenya.
